We don’t talk about the people we get to serve through our nonprofit, Mission Freedom Farm. Their stories are secure on the farm, safe. It is a true blessing to live in purpose to serve others.

2026

In November 2025, MFF opened its doors to two individuals in need of a jump start in life.  Leaving one path behind, they moved across the country to Freedom Farm, where full housing was provided on the farm, along with a car secured by the nonprofit.  Board members created home church and worship gatherings to walk alongside the two leaders as they adjusted to their new setting.  The guests are digging into their callings, caring for the rams on the farm, fishing, traversing the trails, praying on the farm, and preparing to welcome a brood of chickens in a moving chicken coop built by a past guest on Freedom Farm.

2025

2025 was a year of building a secure legal framework to operate as a Christian retreat, creating phased plans for infrastructure and programs, marketing videos for fundraising, and connecting with Christian leaders to spread the message of hope.  The homes on Freedom Farm were repainted, decks were painted, landscaping was refurbished, a church gathering in the barn was furnished, and more.  Because of the foundational work put in throughout the year, two individuals said yes to an invitation for a 6-month journey living on the farm!  God moved to open their hearts for a complete change needed at the most pivotal moment, giving them the courage to do something different.  God blessed them with a home, a car, and a community.  MFF was blessed with their “yes” to provide for them!

2024

One family moved their family to the farm to live for half a year. Their rent was covered and they were provided vehicles. One man moved to the farms for eight months and lived rent free. A young single mother was gifted a car to use for half the year.  Freedom Farm also served as a place of respite and adventure to visiting defense industry leaders, and facilitated tours to share future vision.

This year a vehicle was donated to the nonprofit, a John Deere tractor was purchased to tame the land and facilitate future crop growth, a spigot was added to the well near the animals, and many helped in clearing paths in the woods.  We also met with faith leaders to help us write our faith statement and met with lawyers to facilitate that message throughout all our documentation while we worked on our website.

It’s been a year of God-breathed growth, and we look forward to many years to come.
